The Sixth Annual Texas Street Festival hosted by the City of Mercedes, the Development Corporation of Mercedes and the Mercedes Area Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for Saturday, August 30st which is the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. Entertainment will start at 12 noon and last until 12 midnight, and will feature an array of musical artists and also offer a stage designated for the local community. This is a FREE family oriented event and an attraction for the entire Rio Grande Valley.

Historical Downtown will once again be the destination for the one day event, which will take place on Texas Avenue between Business 83 and Fifth Street and will include the two stages, food, drink, crafts and informational booths along with a Kids Area, Car Show, a Train, different business mascots, dancers, many more fun things to do.

This FREE annual event features a culturally diverse line-up of music and other entertainment for everyone. Informational Vendor Applications are still available at the Chamber Office at 417 S.
